OMT Intra was launched in 2012, upon the Central Bank of Lebanon decision# 17/32/02 dated 9/10/2002. With this service, OMT became the first provider of domestic money transfers without referring to an international company.

How to Send Money

Step 1:

Find the nearest OMT location

Step 2:

Provide OMT Agent with the following required documents and information

The money transfer details filled on the form available at OMT locations.
Your valid government issued ID or Passport.
The receiver’s first and last names.
The amount you wish to send.

Once you sign your receipt and receive your OMTN number, provide your receiver with:

The 12 digit Online Money Transfer Number (OMTN).
Your full name.
The amount you sent.

You can choose to receive an SMS once the receiver collects the money.

How to Receive Money

Step 2:

Provide the OMT Agent with all the necessary information

Your 12 digit Online Money Transfer Number (OMTN) given to you by the sender.
Your valid government issued ID or Passport.
The sender’s first and last names.
The amount you expect to receive.

Step 3:

Collect funds

OMT INTRA money transfers are collected in LBP or USD, as transferred by the sender. Please ensure you count your funds in full, prior to leaving the location.

Terms & Conditions

1. The OMT Intra Money Transfer Service is available to persons aged 18 years or older.

2. A valid government issued ID or Passport is required to send or receive funds.

3. You may be required to provide additional details if instructed by the operator.

4. The maximum amount per transaction a sender can transfer through OMT Intra is LBP 50,000,000 for transactions in LBP and USD 5,000 for transactions in USD. Please enquire in advance by calling OMT Customer Service Center +961 1 391000.

5. OMT Intra money transfers are sent either in LBP or USD and received in the currency sent.

6. An OMT Intra transaction is paid at OMT locations ONLY.
