PCH and OMT sign a Memorandum of Understanding

The Chairman – General Manager of the Public Corporation for Housing (PCH) Eng. Rony Lahoud and the Chairman of OMT Me. Toufic Mouawad signed a joint memorandum of understanding, in a press conference held on July 2, 2019 at the PCH headquarters.  
The memorandum of understanding allows the borrowers from PCH to settle their second-term dues through any OMT Agent location.
This cooperation complements the automation within PCH and enables the settlement of dues through more than 1000 OMT locations in Lebanon.
The Chairman – General Manager of the Public Corporation for Housing (PCH) Eng. Rony Lahoud listed the achievements of the corporation in relation to automation, considering it the fastest and safest way towards the comprehensive society and the strong, capable, and fair state the Lebanese dream of. He affirmed that implementing automation laid the ground for the cooperation with OMT after three years of our first meeting; the board members of PCH welcomed the idea of facilitating the optional payment through more than 1000 OMT locations in Lebanon, thus saving the citizens who wish to benefit from the service the time, cost and efforts of moving around. Eng. Lahoud declared that PCH joined the institutions who serve citizens by providing services in cooperation with OMT through its Agents locations with no cost incurred on the corporation.
The Chairman of OMT Me. Toufic Mouawad thanked the PCH Board of Directors, General Manager and team members for allowing OMT’s network to be the collection points for the borrowers’ dues. He said that Rony Lahoud is the model of a director who belongs to the state and works professionally towards the automation of transactions and the contribution to the e-government. Me. Mouawad confirmed that OMT service remains optional, stressing on OMT's commitment to implement the service with the highest standards of professionalism and commitment to the PCH requirements.
