Statement on 24/08/21: Inbound money transfers in Fresh USD exclusively

Regarding what has been circulated in the media about a Banque du Liban draft circular to settle inbound transfers through money transfer companies in half USD and half LBP, OMT has not yet been informed of any BDL circular that overrules intermediate circular 566.

If such a decision is taken, OMT will review all details in time.
