Once the transaction is complete, you will receive your Transaction Number and the Security Code via SMS.

To collect it, visit the same OMT Agent location with your Lebanese ID or Individual Civil Status Record (valid for 6 months), your Transaction Number and the Security Code.

What is APN (Account Payout Network)?

APN is a Western Union service that allows you to send money to a bank account (Direct to Bank) or a mobile wallet (Mobile Money Transfer/MMT).

What is the maximum amount that can be sent through APN?

You can transfer up to USD 7,500 for a flat fee of USD 20 (some promotions might be available in different countries at different times).

Can I get a list of my money transfer transactions?

Yes, you can get a list of all money transfer transactions you have made at any OMT location.

1. Find the nearest OMT standalone;

2. Present your government-issued ID or valid passport;

3. Fill a Customer Statement Request application form.

The list of transactions requires up to 30 days before it can be picked up from OMT Head Office.

How can I track my Western Union International Money Transfer?

OMT offers the sender free SMS notifications when the Western Union money transfer is collected by the receiver.

1- Vehicle License

To install the new registration plates, please visit any Official Car Plate Dealer.

How can I settle Speed Tickets through OMT?

OMT notifies customers about their Speed Tickets. The customers can settle their Speed Tickets at OMT within 15 days from being notified.

To settle the speed tickets:

1- Visit the nearest OMT Agent Location;

2- Provide OMT Agent with your Car Plate Number & Code;

3- Settle the amount due and collect OMT receipt. Upon settlement, you will receive a confirmation SMS.

You will receive a second SMS when the stamped ticket is ready for collection from the same OMT Agent Location.

B) Provide the OMT Agent with the following required information:

If you are transferring to:

- A bank account: IBAN number/account number and recipient name.

- A mobile wallet: mobile wallet number and recipient name.

C) After completing the sending process, the system will generate the MTCN composed of 10 digits, similar to the Money in Minutes service.

D) Track the status of your transfer: the sender receives an SMS notification once the amount is received.

What are the different APN payout types? How many countries have this service?

The APN service allows you to send money to bank accounts and mobile wallets in 138 countries.

How can I modify/cancel an APN transaction? How is the sender notified?

Modifying/cancelling APN transactions is not possible, since transactions are sent directly to the corresponding recipient bank/supplier (bank account /wallet).

The sender receives an SMS notification once the amount is received.

What if an APN transaction is rejected?

Rejected transactions are fully refunded to the sender.

Can I transfer money to a business account?

APN service covers only Person to Person and therefore, transfers to business accounts are not possible.

What is the payout currency when transferring money through APN?

All types of APN payouts are available in the local currency of the receiving country; very few countries have USD as a payout currency in addition to the local currency.

What is the speed of delivery when sending money through APN?

Speed of delivery can be: Real-time (RT), Same Day (T+0), Next Day (T+1) and 2 days (T+2).

What is the foreign exchange rate for international transfers?

The FX rate varies from one country/bank to another. Therefore, make sure to check this rate before processing any transaction, noting that the FX rate might change during the day without any prior notice.
